Confirmation: Another Freedom Lost

Phil Robertson Gets "The Axe!"
    When I got on the interweb to check email at 3:30AM, I was 'hit in the face' with this subject line from one of my twitter 'friends:'

A&E Suspends “Duck Dynasty”, Phil Robertson; Takes Away His Freedom of Speech

To say the least, I was speechless, and I gotta tell ya, that's hard to do!  After I read "Army Vet Chic's" blog entry I went on to do my own research.
    Phil Robertson~~as the Duck Dynasty patriarch~~ admitted to finally hitting rock-bottom and then accepting Jesus as his Savior:

"I myself am a product of the '60s; I centered my life around sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll until I hit rock bottom and accepted Jesus as my Savior. My mission today is to go forth and tell people about why I follow Christ and also what the Bible teaches, and part of that teaching is that women and men are meant to be together. However, I would never treat anyone with disrespect just because they are different from me. We are all created by the Almighty, and like Him, I love all of humanity. We would all be better off if we loved God and loved each other."

Then Mr Robertson went on to say:

“It seems like, to me, a vagina—as a man—would be more desirable than a man’s anus. That’s just me. I’m just thinking: There’s more there! She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical.”

I have gay brothers-in-law whom I love dearly.  That being said, it doesn't mean that I approve of their lifestyle in the least.  It's not my place to approve or disapprove; what they do in the privacy of the home or the bedroom is of no concern, no consequence to me!  I am of a like-mind with Mister Phil!
    If I could take Mister Phil's place for a moment or two I'd say thus:
1.  We're gonna have a family meeting with all adult 'blood'  (meaning Alan, Willie, Jase and Jep, plus "Miss Kay," the family matriarch) Robertsons having a vote.
2.  We vote on whether to void our contract~~if economically feasible~~with the A & E Network.
3.  We vote on whether to 'shop' the "Duck Dynasty" mantra (THE most popular reality show on cable tv) to other networks.
    The pre-A&E 'dynasty' of Duck Commander; Buck Commander has made ALL the Robertsons evil millionaires, several times over.  Each~~with the possible exception of "Uncle Si"~~is educated, degreed beyond high school.
    In conclusion: The "Happiness Community (I remember when 'gay' meant happy)" has to get over itself and leave dissenters to themselves.  Not everyone is going to agree with the "happiness" lifestyle!!  ALL the Phil Robertsons of the world have God-given~~constitutionally protected~~right to express their views, get over it!
