My Blather On.... "Confusion...." March 31st
Military 'Jargon' Confuses Me Are you confused as well.... about Special Forces , Green Berets, Navy SEALs, Army Rangers ? I have a step -son and dear friend~ although we rarely see each-other ~who EARNED a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star as an Army Ranger during the " Battle of Mogadishu. It never occurred to me to ask him!! I was under the impression that the term " Special Forces " was little more than a header and the others fell under that category... Not So !! I found an article on Twitter that cleared the whole situation up for me... as the author explained how " Special Forces " respond to- and overcome- adversity: 1. Prepare, Prepare, Prepare 2. Creativity Isn't Nice It's Essential 3. Cooperate and Negotiate 4. Be A Teacher 5. Be Motivated--Then Make A Plan Read the entire article then try to say "you got it tough!!!" ...
