My Blather On.... Presidential Requirements; April 7th

Should Military Service Be Required?
The requirements necessary to assume the office of President of The United States are enumerated in Article II, Section 1, Clause 5, to wit:
  • A natural born citizen of the United States,
  • At least 35 years of age,
  • Be a permanent resident of the United States for at least 14 years.
The 12th, the 14th and and the 22nd amendments have restrictions to holding the American presidency.
In the modern era~say from 1900 forward~there have been nineteen presidents, fourteen of which had some form of military service; five had none.  Thirteen of the aforementioned served in some capacity during WWII, President George W. Bush served in the Texas Air National Guard/Air Force Reserve [1968-1972].  One might say that if not military service, then at least a deep, factual knowledge of the various branches of the military as well as the same level of knowledge in military tactics, military history.
The well-documented military events~from the ill-conceived to the tragic~that have occurred on "Clown Prince" obama's "Rasputin" Jarrett's watch singlehandedly make the case for a textbook background in various aspects of the military.  I make that same proposal: that any presidential candidate of any party to have at least started a military course of study.  Said 'education' must be leveled at the 'candidate' due to the short timespan between the election and the assumption of office.
There are several 'civilian' military colleges as well as the Army War College, the Naval War College, the Air War College.  Each military 'war college' has courses and tactical studies specifically pertinent to that branch.  Even if the candidate only experienced study at just one of the aforementioned colleges, it would be far better than the [lack of basic] knowledge of the current resident of barackINGHAM PALACE... the one besides Valerie Jarrett!!
In conclusion, if the candidate(s) have/has not been in active military service, then~unless forced by rule~various aspects of America's foreign policy will be lacking in important aspects of decision-making.
We certainly couldn't do any worse than the failures of the "Rasputin" Jarrett Regime!
That's all I got.
Til Nex'Time...
